David M. Taylor D.O.
Early on in my medical career, I found that I enjoyed the teamwork of being in the operating room. From there, it was easy to decide on ENT, as every otolaryngologist I worked with was happy, enjoyed their job and was enthusiastic about teaching.
I have had incredible teachers and mentors throughout my time in the military, which has made me uniquely adept at medically and surgically treating a wide breath of ENT-related conditions through creativity and ingenuity, given the challenges of medical care overseas and in austere environments. During my latest assignment in England, I was able to pass on my love of teaching to the next generation while working as an Adjunct Professor of Laryngeal Anatomy at Cambridge University.
Although my career so far has been incredible and fulfilling, I would say that my biggest accomplishment is having such an excellent relationship with my wife and four daughters despite the rigors of a five-year residency and multiple overseas assignments.
In my free time, I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my family, swimming, cycling, playing piano and being in the great outdoors as much as possible.
